Land air and sea temperatures are rising around the globe and have been since the fifties. This is because humans are releasing a vast amount of C02 into the atmosphere which in turn traps heat and causes the temperature to rise. Since 1950, there has been a .9C raise in temperature and the sea level has risen 8 inches. Sunspots and other gasses do contribute to climate change, but their affect is inconsiderable.

While climate change is a very real threat, there are many falsities that surround it in order to garner more attention. One of these falsities is that climate change has increased the amount of storms and worsened the weather. While it is true that we have been able to detect more of said storms, that doesn't necessarily mean there are more of them. We have been able to detect more storms because of advances in technology. Some claim that the temperature has actually decreased, but this can be explained away due to volcanic activity. When a volcano erupts it releases particles into the atmosphere that reflect heat which leads to a cooling effect that can last a couple of years.
